Plantz is on BlueSky

When I first heard about Bluesky I was intrigued. Not so much by it’s rivalry with Twitter (although that’s good fun to watch, too) but because it was calling itself a “Decentralised Social Network”.

Now, anything ‘Decentralised” is obviously going to resonate with me due to our decision to transform Plantz into a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO).

BlueSky is coming from a slightly different angle as they are opening up their platform to external developers. However, they’re also making a big splash about the fact they’re not owned by one person (or shareholders), meaning they can’t be taken over, as happened at Twitter.

Our account is here and we have a Starter Pack of cannabis news and influencers for you to get up n running quickly.

I have embedded a live feed from our profile (latest 5 posts) to give you a flavour of what to expect.

It would be great if anyone could work with us to create an official feed (experience with scripts & GitHub required) and our bigger goal, embed our own version of BlueSky into this site?

Got a BlueSky account you’d like included on our Starter Pack? Just let us know the details!
